California Homeowners Insurance

The California Homeowners insurance market has seen some of the largest changes in its history over the last year.

Access to options for homeowners’ insurance products has never been as limited as it is today. Many homeowners are currently receiving renewal offers with rate increases as high as double the prior year. Others are shopping for new policies, only just to be told they are nor able to be quoted and will have to get a rate from the California FAIR plan, which takes several weeks, is missing several coverages offered by an HO3 or HO5 policy, and has astronomical rates.
